I have known Waqar since 2017 when his services were acquired to complete an assessment of a complex multi-year project to implement a third-party party benefits administration system. The assessment was completed on time and on budget. Waqar was extremely professional and very competent in this role and he was well liked by all internal and external parties involved. In late 2020 I reached out to Waqar to inquire about the services of Canadian Cyber Inc. (CCI) At the time we were reviewing external vendors for an upcoming cybersecurity assessment. We were looking for a vendor with experience and one that would not break our budget. Reference checks of several CCI clients came back with positive reviews and helped to solidify a decision to select CCI for our cybersecurity assessment project. The team at CCI completed the project in 2021 and were very helpful in guiding us through the twenty or so workshops following the CIS Controls V7.1 framework. Waqar delivered the executive presentation and has since helped us to prepare and work through responses to strengthen our overall cybersecurity posture and to improve both policy and practice maturity levels. If you are beginning or perhaps continuing your journey down the cybersecurity maturity pathway, I recommend you consider the services of CCI. My experience with CCI is that they have the team, the tools, and the know-how to deliver a quality service, on time and on budget.
